AO3 Authors and Manhwagas are the same but one is respected
I'm not sure if it's just me but AO3 authors tend to be really respected to the point where even an ounce of criticism, there will be people that will defend them to the bitter end. On the other hand, a lot of Manhwagas(and even some mangakas) are given a lot of shit and are disregarded majority of the time. Why is that? Because I swear they're the same in my eyes if not AO3 authors are worse but why are they given the upper hand?
AO3 writers are more independent and have the freedom to write whatever without a care and their work is non-profit. And on the other hand, webtoon artists,mangakas,manhuwagas most likely work with a team. And they profit from their work so they can't be as silly as AO3 writers and need to be as professional as possible. They also get more criticis...... reply
