Cancer.

Hello guys :) UNO here!

Today I wanted to share with you some thoughts and mangas about a very important topic: cancer.

As you may already know, cancer is a disease caused when cells divide uncontrollably and spread into surrounding tissues. Whether a person's cancer can be cured depends on the type and stage of the cancer, the type of treatment they can get and other factors. Sadly, there isn't one definite cure for cancer yet.

You might think: "Why is UNO writing about such sensitive matter on a site like Mangago?"

Well, the thing is that I've read some mangas on it that made me reflect a lot and I just wanted to share them with you.

1. My Wife Whom I Loved Dearly

This is a oneshot that illustrates the relationship between this beautiful couple. The last panels made me truly cry...

2. Mikkigan demo Genki desu 38-sai

This very cute manga shows the life of a rabbit that has a colon cancer. The rabbit is actually the author and it is her real story. She passed away on the 12th of December 2022.

3. Big See

This manga has a very simple but cute art style and it narrates the life of a man that has cancer and the his emotional journey.

I have noticed that all these manga have very few upvotes and comments and I thought it was a pity for them to remain hidden...

...so here am I making this post to recommend them to you :)

Many of us had probably to go through important operations or are maybe battling some kind of disease. This might be not the best site to educate people on such matters but still, I think we all should try to make the forums a better place for everyone where we share things that are fun and/or educational.

Said so, please be mindful of what you write down in the comments. If any of you will just start spreading negativity ("wHy ArE yOu TaLkInG aBoUt ThIs On MaNgAgO? iT's An iLleGaL pOrN site!!1!!1") I kindly ask you to stop.
