so my friend just confessed his feelings to me just now thru chat, and you know, I like him too. I'm just scared that things might go wrong with me, or that I might mess things up. I've never been in a relationship before, at all, so being awkward scares me at all. I'm also not satisfied with my life status yet, I want to be a bit rich to start dating other people. I also want to focus on my studies, get better. To sum it all up, I'm overall scared and overwhelmed that I don't exactly know what to do. Love or relationship is so complicated for me I really had to go here seek for advices lmaoooo. But yeah, he's a sweet angel and I'm scared to hurt him because of my incompetence.
i think you should tell him what you said here. if both of you are comfortable with making compromises on both sides (you going out of your comfort zone aka pursuing this relationship and him respecting and understanding your situation and feelings about this) then i'd say go for it!
