whenever i go out i literally have to put on eyeliner, mascara, foundation, eyeshadow, blush, highlighter, lip tint and gloss, choose an outfit (cant be the same one as yesterday or the day before, cant be too slutty or modest), wear accessories, straighten my hair or do a curly routine (both of which will take over half an hour) and i still feel like im not pretty enough
men will literally put on an oversized shirt + cargo pants (bonus points if they brush their teeth and dont smell like rotten eggs) and ppl will declare them a fashion icon i literally cant rn
so true. its so unfair and painful how society's standards for women are sky high but for men they are lower than hell. women always have to put in top notch effort consistently and even then they won't be noticed as worthy. i dont care what anyone says, our world is conditioned to make everything easier for men. you lost a point the moment you wer...... reply
