What is a "no go" In a story
Heyy I'm just wondering about this because i just got into a conversation about this stuff and it left me wondering.
Like rape. Can you read a story with no consent? Or if it's about killing someone? Cheating? Or other stuff like that. I would like to know what makes a story not readable.
I can stomach most themes/topics if they are handled correctly.
Else they are not necessarily a deal breaker but greatly decrease my rating. If it gets too much i may dnf.
E.g. i dropped a story where mc was constantly being molested by ml until ml did that while mc was sleeping. And it was being excused by the narrative so i saw no merit in that....... 2 reply
