Your thoughts on a person who reads mostly BL?
I've watched a lot of discourse and video essays on youtube and read some on reddit about women reading BL/Yaoi, etc. But I wanna know how it's perceived in this community. I've been reading for years and will hit my 1000-mark on my "already read" content here, I do read other genres but it's mostly BL. Just wanna hear everyone's thoughts honestly.
I read mainly BL and danmei, and I don’t think it should matter. If you like it, read it.
It’s silly to think that people who aren’t part of the LGBTQ community shouldn’t read it and are fetishizing those who are.
If we use that logic, then people who aren’t Asian shouldn’t consume manga/anime with romance, because they are fetishizi...... reply
