Why do people who read Yaoi with literally mafia bosses and demons, or even the devil himself as ml get shocked when they r*pe the mc. Like, they kill people without thinking twice, and you think they wouldn't r*pe someone? And then y'all get mad at the authors, saying that they are psychopaths and shit. I ain't pro r*pe but if the character is already shown as a bad character from the start, I will not be shocked if he does that too.
Because rape is personal towards the mc. Murder etc is something he's doing to other people, not the mc. I could use the same argument for cheating, why would anyone get mad if he's cheating on the mc, since he's an asshole anyway? That's not the type of story we want to read.
