AITA for punching my friend after she kept comparing my favorite characters to hers
And calling them copies of her favorite characters/her favs in another life, she's been like this ever since we met, every single character I like she compares with hers. She either one ups them or downgrades them as copies. Just a few minutes ago I was talking about how I liked GenShuLin from Wuthering Waves and she suddenly cut me off and showed a twt post of someone saying that GenShuLin looked like Till and said "OMG GENSHULIN LOOKS LIKE TILL SO HES MINE NOW BACK OFF" and some other weird annoying shit so I punched her.
Have you considered talking to her about it? If the friendship is important to you, you might have to be the first one to step forward.
My friends and I are pretty close, because of that it’s easy for boundaries to be crossed. Being the first one to step up makes it more comfortable for them to speak up too if something is bothering them.
