good bad boy still has some morals but might engage in uncouth activities (mafia, bullying, what have you) whereas bad good boy could be a sweetheart with some red flag qualities (jealousy, stalking, etc.)
idk fr i just thought i'd give it a shot and personally i prefer good bad boys (see reference photo)

I think a good bad boy would be that delinquent character, maybe a punk all about not taking things too seriously in life, maybe with some dubious traits like sleeping around, a little tsundere. But even so he doesn't really goes out of his way to cause anything bad for anyone he doesn't cause anyone to hurt, he is gentle at heart.

I see "good bad boy" as causing mischief and mayhem for the purpose of good. Think of Robin Hood for example, "steal from the rich, give to the poor". reply
