Once you get into BL you can never go back
So I was once an avid het romance reader, simped and shipped straight couples only with an unparalleled enthusiasm and vigour but then I got into BL and suddenly I hated reading het romance, it felt so disgusting and I couldn't tolerate it (still do)...I thought it was kind of like a natural response of sorts since a lot of ppl have reported to exp the same reaction but I was starting to wonder what if I get tired of bl ( which ik is bound to happen one day but hopefully I didn't jinx it)... so what are your thoughts and experiences?
I use to be a hardcore BL fan believe it or not, but not anymore, I'm mainly just into action/reincarnation manwha's.. So no, once you read BL, you CAN go back, and honestly I'm quite happy not reading it as much anymore, it was a very unhealthy obsession of mines 1 reply
I believe in chemistry in romance. If two humans got soul wrenching, heart-crashing, stomach-churning chemistry going on in between them, boy am gonna read that shit no matter who they are. 2 reply

the tea is that bl isn't written any different than straight romance so if you think bl is better (as a woman) it's bc you have 1) internalized misogyny 2) dick envy 3) obsessed w/ male homosexuality argue w/ your mirror about it

well i have a phase of reading only bl when i first discovered this genre but now i don't care about their gender, as long as it's good & intrigued me I'll read it. i even love a romance story between a wolf & bunny (no, I'm not a furry) tho the story it self is more than just romance ofc. the more genre i read the more good stuff i discovered, why...... 2 reply
I feel like everyone has their phases (BL brainrot, reincarnated-shounen, reincarnated-shoujo, maybe horror manga if you’re feeling spicy) I used to only read BL for awhile then I got into TRWREUATDM and historical villainess stuff for awhile and stopped reading BL, but now I just read whatever
