Hi so my friend invited me to her Quinceanera/ birthday party and my bf doesn’t want me to go and is saying he’ll break up with me if I go and will stop spending money on me and I don’t want to break up with him bc we’ve been together for 2 years now but I feel like he’s being controlling and irrational. He’s saying I’ll just wear pounds of makeup and wear something slutty and get ganged banged by guys…. But I told him I won’t wear anything crazy just a formal dress or something and show him but he doesn’t care. Me and my friend used to be close but we still talk and call every 2 months I’ve known her since the 8th grade. Should I still go to her birthday party?
Yeah dump that guy like him being controlling and irrational it’s a big red flag and would take a toll on your mental health and self esteem and u should go to her birthday party nothings wrong with reuniting and looking nice to the party your bf has no right to comment negatively on your looks he should’ve encouraged and love of who u are reply
