Pro tip if water isn’t enough:
Figs are a natural laxative and can be a big help with digestion issues. So is cranberry (for example cranberry juice), dragonfruit, raisins and if I’m not mistaken generally most fruit is good for constipation and indigestion.

The amount of constipated people on the replies made me sad. Please people eat more fiber rich foods and drink water!! Constipation can lead to diverticulitis (seriously, those aren't fun) and bowel cancer! Fiber is also good for your gut bacteria, those are REALLY important for your immunity and mental health! reply
Another thing-
Constipation and diarrhea are two sides of the same coin, if you're having diarrhea stay hydrated and cut down on heavily seasoned foods or go for a blander diet for a bit.
Diarrhea gets you VERY dehydrated reply
