Never in my life have I ever made a successful mug cake before, shit either takes like straight dookie, it didn't even rise, or I didn't have the correct ingredient for it so I tried to replace it with something else by asking google reply
It's probably lacking moisture/fat from the chocolate bar (melted chocolate=wet, powder chocolate=dry). Besides, chocolate powder probably has a different amount of sugar in it depending on what you used and also has other ingredients in it (to make it less clumpy and more soluble), so it won't taste the same.
