What country do you live in? If it’s a country that majority already accepts lgbt+ then you don’t need to worry much. If it’s a country that majority still hostile towards lgbt+, you need to be careful.

I’m gonna be honest, you just live with it. Yeah he may or may not share the same interest but if someone makes you feel lesser or ashamed of an hobby or something you like then you know that you weren’t meant to be (and that they’re an asshole).
