What are some good examples of the art getting worse overtime..?
I was reading a manga and noticed how distorted the characters looked so I reread the first chapter. The characters looked SO much better. It was the same artist. The MC went from a nice looking guy to an oddly shaped femboy creature. It got to the point where someone commented “he is literally just a woman atp” Inhuman big eyes, huge lips, and a weird top heavy haircut too. He became a skinwalker.
I have a whole theory about this 'cause it happens soooo often, especially with Chinese works. So, they hire a brilliant artist in the beginning, to hook us and reel us in for the first season or two. Then, they switch them out with a cheaper (farrr less talented artist) to cut costs.
