Heck yeah good riddance. I'm a french student and i can tell you dirigeants literally moved sh*t over so Paris looks "nice" for JO. They even "nicely" asked students on financial help (CROUS) to move further away from their CROUS apartment to house volonteers and security. That's literally bullshit. I have no idea what was the concept for the opening ceremony. There were a bunch of dancing groups, some representing french culture, some not, a bunch of people just running in pink, a masked person parkouring trough the city and all the contestants floating along the seine. Which was not a good idea because some countires only had a few participa...... reply
Like, some parts were pretty good, some others were good and others...well, I just wanted to skip them! I know just the basics about France, and almost nothing about what was going on behind the scenes BUT like, dude, I expected more French singers to be on stage!!
