What would you do if your son/daughter came out to you?
I find it that a fair amount of parents approach situations like this in a negative way and of course I would definetly accept him/her with open arms and demand meeting their partner [if they had one] lol. I think parents should be their child's number one supporter in these situations.
I don't want kids, but in a hypothetical situation where I am a mum... ideally coming out wouldn't be a big deal for my children. If I'd done parenting right, they would know that it's completely okay to have whatever sexuality or whatever gender long before they could ever end up in a situation where they'd need to come out to me.
