Physiological mangas
Am I the only person who just hates it when the most disgusting manga I've ever seen created, but everybody excuses it because it's suppose to be a 'physiological manga'. Like, there can be mf R@PE, just straight torture and abuse, and other wild shit but I just read in the comments "Wow.. This is was so disturbing but interesting. " all because it's considered physiological. Like that's so weird to me?? I'm probably just being sensitive but I just wanted to let this out
It depends on the writing (plot, story developpement and tone of the story). 'Psychological' is mostly seen in thrillers, so that's why there are so many scene that are damaging to the mind/body of the characters at play.
It isn't always meant to be excusable, or even good. But it's meant to push the story and the characters forward.
