The majority of live-action BLs solely focus on romance + slice of life stories because it's the cheapest to adapt (lack of special effects, etc). Okay, there are slightly more live action BLs trying to mix romance/slice of life with other genres (e.g. horror, mystery, fantasy) but still in the majority of cases, either the acting, or the ...... reply
Reading. I’m terrible at making time to watch anything. If I catch it in tv I’ll watch, or I need to go watch at a movie theater, but the chances of me sitting down and looking for something specific is rare. reply

With live action you got the extra layer of having acting. I find most Asian BL kinda just overact or they get awkward/look uncomfortable with stuff like kissing. Also as the others said, I like reading at my own pace and can consume a lot of BL way faster by reading. reply
