When I was little I always had "series" of dreams, where one dream was a continuation of another (and it would go on for like 10 dreams or more) OR where my dreams were repetitions, w/ very few things changed.
One of "dream dramas" was pretty normal: a kidnapper in my house, and I would have to hide from him (But he would always find me and then ...... 3 reply
