Any LGBTQ people on here?

I'm gay since elementary school, and when i was on high school i decided to tell some of my friends, they kindly accepted it at first. But later on they keep bugging me to be normal and telling me that it can changed (I'm not offended) , and no matter how many time i tell them that human can't choose who they love, it just happen.
