Every time someone talks about politics and economics I feel so lost and bad cuz I barely know anything about modern politics. My peers seem to know a lot, especially boys. I don't want to be left behind and I want to keep up with them. Whenever history teacher talks about politics and economics, boys join him and they start discussing so intensly and I feel like an alien. I'm still very young but I want to improve myself and be better. Where can I start learning from? How to study it so that I don't get too bored? What sources should I use? Come to think of it, I think I lack a lot of common knowledge that most people seem to just know, like things that are nothing big to know about

So a few days ago I was going through my tiktok reposts and I noticed that the cute relationship videos I reposted for my ex boyfriend were still there and I decided to delete them cuz we broke up 5 months ago and what's the point of keeping them if they're about him? Not to mention that we ended up on bad terms and had a big fight. The thing is when I opened tiktok next day, I saw that he had texted me and in the message he was saying "Oww why did you delete the reposts? V (his friend's initial) looks through your reposts time to time and we have so much , What a shamee" . I replied with " Why does it bother you this much? It's none of your business and I can do whatever I want. Weren't you the one who said nothing about me interests you? What's wrong with deleting the reposts that I made about a person whom I have broken up with? ". Today he replied saying " Lol I wasn't actually expecting you to answer, too bad V and I laughed so much" it annoyed me a lot so I replied with sth like "you show how much of an idiot you're again" and another sentence , I don't remember what it was cuz I blocked him right after replying and deleted our chat. I really can't bother arguing with him over sth so stupid and childish again cuz it's NOT the first time something like this has happened. He's always being stingy and backhanded with his words and thinks he's superior and mature just because he's older than me. But in fact he looks so childish and pathetic. He's annoying like he's the one who says he doesn't care about me but why is he acting like this then? Is he seeking attention ? What's he trying to do? So the thing is I had a few friends who used to support lgbtq and enjoy queer media, such as books manhwas or dramas. But they decided to repent and become "normal" all of a sudden. This one girl who I was very close with started reading bl and became an ally after discovering that I was queer and I was reading yaoi. She liked reading bl a lot and became an ally. It went like this for a year, she would always talk about yaoi manhwas and other lgbtq media. When we returned to school after the 3 months summer break, I tried to start a convo about some bl manhwas but she said "Listen, I decided to repent and won't read or support such things again. It's not normal and it's weird. Don't not talk about them, I'm not interested " I felt very upset cuz my ally friend whom I came out to became a homophobe. Like are you kidding me was that all a lie? No it clearly wasn't and she had made up her mind to support queer people long ago so why change all of a sudden? I think she deep down knows that there's nothing wrong with being gay and she really enjoyed queer media. Why deny something you had already come to terms with? It pisses me off so much that she now sees it as an anomaly and a mistake? Like girl you were the one reading fwop fwop squelch squelch every day
