How to educate myself in politics
Every time someone talks about politics and economics I feel so lost and bad cuz I barely know anything about modern politics. My peers seem to know a lot, especially boys. I don't want to be left behind and I want to keep up with them. Whenever history teacher talks about politics and economics, boys join him and they start discussing so intensly and I feel like an alien. I'm still very young but I want to improve myself and be better. Where can I start learning from? How to study it so that I don't get too bored? What sources should I use? Come to think of it, I think I lack a lot of common knowledge that most people seem to just know, like things that are nothing big to know about

my major is in the dept of econ so my explanations are going to lean towards the economics side. though politics and economics are two sides of the same coin anyway, whatever you choose to focus on you're bound to learn about the other. im gonna keep this as simple as possible.
