PET OWNERS I NEED HELP
brought home a stray kitten, and i've got it vaccinated and everything, and even convinced my obstinate animal-hating mother to let me keep it, but my dog is acting like a fkin bitch (ironic lmao), she keeps barking and if I leave the kitten unattended she might just eat that poor thing. how do I make her stop, I've seen a lot of videos of pet owners introducing cats to their dogs and they all act like such angels. my dog is usually very well behaved and listens to me but after I brought the kitten home, it's like she's been angry with me and even growled at me for the first time ever
Hello, it will some time for you dog to be become okay enough to tolerate the cat or at least be more friendly with it.
I highly suggest you separate them and introduce them slowly. Try your best to make sure there are not coming into contact with each other right away.
This can take little as weeks to months to accomplish.
