PET OWNERS I NEED HELP
brought home a stray kitten, and i've got it vaccinated and everything, and even convinced my obstinate animal-hating mother to let me keep it, but my dog is acting like a fkin bitch (ironic lmao), she keeps barking and if I leave the kitten unattended she might just eat that poor thing. how do I make her stop, I've seen a lot of videos of pet owners introducing cats to their dogs and they all act like such angels. my dog is usually very well behaved and listens to me but after I brought the kitten home, it's like she's been angry with me and even growled at me for the first time ever
You've gotten some good advice but I'll add a few tips.
1. Patience. This cannot be overstated. You have to introduce them to each other VERY slowly. It could take months for the two of them to be okay with each other.
2. Keep them separate. Do not allow them to be in the same part of the house.
