Sometimes I read comment sections debating about a fictional character being like “she would never do this… she’s just mentally depressed and I feel like she’d be the type of person to keep things to herself…” and then I realize that we’re all just discussing the non-existent personality of a character that an author has written. Like at the end of the day it’s just a drawing on a screen. I don’t know how to explain it
Eh...this is completely normal human behavior. It's the same as theorizing about celebrities and shit when you don't actually know them, they're essentially just characters you're projecting your own desires and beliefs onto.
