You can die from both and it doesn’t matter how expensive it is they both will lead you down a horrible path. If you want to break the cycle don’t do anything that you think will damage your heath whether it be drugs or alcohol. This is like choosing death by freezing or death by burning.   reply

if you already know you have a genetic predisposition toward addiction, then don’t drink or do any drugs. At all. Your life will be much easier if you don’t give yourself half a chance to get near that slippery slope. My dad’s mom was an alcoholic, so when he grew up he just swore off alcohol.
