I had a coworker rec a manga to me last week. He’s older(50s) and used “loli” to describe the main character.
Honestly, I haven’t heard that term in so long, I kinda forgot what it meant but I’m worried that it is associated w shota. Esp since I work w the dude
It can generally refer to a short childlike female character, it doesn’t have to be a child it can be some 1000year old demon or something but it is generally understood that they are child coded.
It is generally looked down upon as it can normalise pdf file tenancies, but not all loli characters are written to be viewed sexually. The writing is ...... 1 reply
