About sex between an mc and anyone else
I mostly see this in KR bl actually, but I wonder if it's just me who dislikes(find it uncomfortable) seeing a main character, regardless if theyre top or bottom, having sex with anyone else and if it's non-con or concensual, especially so if the person they're sleeping with has a name and a face like an extra character or a villain is some cases (I especially hate those ones). In some cases it's not as bad, but in some popular ones (like example: pearl boy or minmotion syndrome) The sex scenes between the mcs and the baddies are so explicit and I know it's supposed to be uncomfortable but I still think the super detailed sex scenes are overkill Some aren't as extreme as the ones above tho but smth Abt just makes me tweak so much so I dropped pearl boy and painter of the night(this one I didn't stick around to find out if it actually happened) permanently I also don't think it's a super bad thing maybe it just isn't for me its been in my mind for so long I'm just curious what other people's thoughts are on this
Just finished reading a story where the bottom's thought process is “It’s wrong to sleep with someone else when you have someone in your mind.” and I fw that so much. THIS is how everyone should think imo.

If it's rape then obvi I hate that, but honestly idgaf if it's like consensual n normal yk. I usually get annoyed because it's usually a waste of time and ruins the pacing. Like what does it add to the plot to see these guys banging for a whole chapter, but I have that issue even when it's the mcs having sex together LMAO

If it does something for the story I don't mind, but otherwise I hate it bc its so unnecessary, they just want to insert more sex scenes when every chapter is already overflowing with it 1 reply
If its consented, then its lowkey just the way you think (not saying its wrong but depending on what it stems from it could be). In this case i just see them as a choice a separate person made and im here for the ride. I find it interesting when a character does something i could never and i love to see how their actions change their lives. Tho its...... reply
