Spaghetti al assassina. Literally all you need is tomato sauce, garlic, spaghetti, opt chili and salt.
Also a large pan but it's also very little work so i like to it when I have nothing at home bc I usually always have those ingredients at hand.

I will add my recent struggle meal at the end, but I got you some general tips that might help:
1. Beans are your friend on a budget! They can cause gas so be aware (lol) but they are great nutrient wise and very filling. And of course rice with beans is heavenly!

Instant ramen. It's very versatile, because if you have the extra money for some greenery or meat, you can always throw that in as well. I used to get a five pack of ramen and then buy whatever veggies were on sale - potatoes, bok choi, spinach, tomato, brussel sprouts - then cook them up in a frying pan with an egg or some imitation crab. As an American, mine is either PB & J (peanut butter and jelly), PB & B (peanut butter and banana), or if you have a little extra tuna fish -- and they're all sandwiches. Also hot dogs, if you like them. (Back when I was first starting out I could buy 80 beef frozen hotdogs for $10 -- I would use them for all kinds of different meals.)
