Kind of Rant. Ive been coming to terms with the fact that I am lesbian, but the hardest part is owning it, my friends are accepting of the lqbtq community but theres always a weird vibe with them. Whenever we meet someone new, they will out me immediately to that person. I feel like having a breakdown at some point because I feel people just see my sexuality, and not me as a person. I just want to be normal, not in the sense that I want to be straight, I just want my sexuality to be normalized, why is it such a big deal?
I’m assuming you’re still in high school or below. Kids at that age (and some people older,) tend to misunderstand the weight of sexuality, I think. It’s not your identity at all. You’re a whole person +you like women sometimes, not just “queer” or “a lesbian.” I’d strongly recommend telling your friends directly that you’re unc...... reply
