do u play any instruments?
& how did u start playing it? i have a violin but ive just had no improvement on the instrument at all, and im apart of a string club full of guitarists whereas im the only violinist. i really wanna know how to get good at this. it pains me knowing that people can play beautiful melodies with the same strings that i struggle to even struck a proper chord with. and yes i know all about the chords, finger practices, and things u have to maintain in order to play it. i trim my nails weekly, have a supply of strings & rosin but recently ive hit a slump and i went back to square 1 how do i fix this??
hiii 12 year violinist here, started back when i was around 10 ish cuz of my parents, took a break for 3 years and then picked it up again when i was 14. when i first started out, i felt exactly like how you’re feeling rn, i was frustrated, thinking i could never play this instrument the way it was meant to be played, and reaaaly envious of those...... 1 reply
Before I randomly quit, I was at grade 6 in piano. This month (after five years with no action) my dusty ass piano once more felt human touch. For reasons unclear to myself, I decided to start playing again. Alas, I've forgotten EVERYTHING. Having the teacher plonk a grade 1 piece of sheet music in front of me and realising I can't name a single no...... reply
I used to play a Viola but quit so quickly cause it made me bored, i got in cause i signed up for orchestra for my school, but i totally understand what you mean, but you just have to keep going and giving it your all, you’ll get better i promise, same thing happen to me but i quit while i was getting better reply
I play guitar and it kinda started cuz i took my little brother's mini guitar that worked perfectly fine and he forgot abt it so even more of a win. I think its been since a year and I think im decent at best but overall having fun (▰˘◡˘▰) reply
just a simple one, and its a harp! Its a family generation thingy but i mean i wasnt forced on it. I took interest on it on my own and eventually forgot all about how to play it!! :D reply
