why are there so many puritans on this site??
so much of the featured manga is hardcore, toxic, crazy seme, etc etc but then the comments are always split with people talking normally and people complaining about the toxicity, calling the author/audience freaks and shit like that. i am genuinely curious if theres an actual reason for this but this is mainly a complaint (￣ε(#￣)Σ
Like I get when someone drops a comment shitting on the story and moves on but some of those freaks just sit out in the comments and obsessively comment on every new chapter? Yeah i wanna complain bout that too, i mean some people really talking shite about author and the manga but still keep reading them (jinx abvs) and its fugging irk me huft, the manga is literally shit talking factory when all of us alrd know that they will be together at the end tf. It’s annoying to look at comments and I only see people complaining about how toxic it is. They think it’s a valid criticism. I don’t understand why such people stick around for more than 10 chapters. reply
Some people don't read summary beforehand, some people don't expect it to be THAT toxic, some people complain about toxicity by just reading the summary, some people know its toxic but will still read and complaint.
I have complaint some times about these crazy stories because they are always at the homepage whenever I open the site, there's no opt...... reply
I think it might depend on the material and audience. So I've noticed that you don't get as much of those comments in mangas compared to manhwas. I'm thinking it's because a lot of manga readers have been reading Yaoi for a long time and know what to expect. Younger generation man. Also zero literal comprehension and an urge to see everything happening their own way. So they get frustrated when they can't understand something and start argument or dehumanise them because of difference in pov. reply
