Has yaoi/hentai affected you badly?

I had classmates in highschool that started reading yaoi at 11 or 12 and they were shipping Ciel (13 yo) and Sebastian (30) which is like WTF. They were using myreadingmanga which is full of nasty shit. But they had friends and had good grades so their lives turned out OK I guess.

I met people with mixed opinions about how porn in general affects you, some say it didn't affect them. I guess if you're isolated it can affect you more. For me the quarantine has led me to spend too much time on erotica and losing interest in other books. When I went back to school and my friends had moved away plus I was easily taken advantage of by new people, I was always looking forward to reading erotica and lost interest in socialising or dating, and I guess discovering various types of erotica from when I was 15 didn't help. What have been your experiences?
