Am I the only one who dislike reading Doujinshi (Yaoi version) of manga/anime which I have read?
I like yaoi & shounen ai, but i really cannot fathom that characters that I have read and known are being shipped around and sexualized.. Eg, Detective Conan, Naruto
But, i still read doujinshi for manga/anime that i havent read since I have no emotional connection with the characters.. Eg. Gintama, Free!, Yuri on Ice
I kinda know what you mean. I sometimes hate it but also sometimes like it ....
It’s complicated. Sometimes, like Naruto and sasuke is a great ship of mine so I like reading doujinshi bc I really wish the actual manga had them get together since the did kiss like thrice.
I do have dojinshi that I hate bc it’s either the original is in my child...... reply
