4chan is notoriously famous for the worst things because there was little to no moderation and everyone could post whatever they wanted, but people forget the insane impact it has on internet meme culture, the origin of the word "sauce" as a substitute for source (the story is pretty funny), wojacks, pepe the frog, those old spiderman cartoon memes......
