I really like death is the only ending for the villainess and i never really cared for The Remarried Empress but either way i don't give a fuck when these nobles/royals mc get screwed over by a slave, i wouldn't care if said slave killed them. Authors need to stop incorporating slavery in their shallow ass worldbuilding just to make the slaves the bad guys like no just because Penelope BOUGHT Eckles doesn't mean he owns her any loyalty. The Remarried Empress is a whole other can of worms, Navier or whatever her name is is such a shit person i hate everything about her boring ass classist personality, Rashta should have poisoned her ass
The remarried empress fans are so confusing to me. Rashta has very reasonable motivations and an incredibly sympathetic backstory, but they HATE her and I can't understand why. Ik it's misogyny and her being "the bitch that ruined Navier's life" but omfg the complete lack of any sympathy for her situation is insane Rashta could burn the entire cas...... 2 reply
Listen, I loved Penelope. However, I had to take a break from the story cause I HATED Eckles! I read so many spoilers about how he sold her out and betrayed her. I would always side with the oppressed, I don't fucking care. And you will find the readers of Remarried Empress or any historical manhwas be classist as fuck. Like what happened to eat the rich? Ur so real for this. I started reading Remarried Empress bc everybody was *hating* on Rashta and I was curious how bad she could be. Turns out my girl was just trying to *live*, which just made me confused y ppl were reacting like that. But I think it's a pov and misogyny thing.
