I like soft FLs. No crazy revenge plots, no trying their best to sass their way into high society. (not that I have anything against it tho) strong enough to not get bullied, but soft enough to make the romance hella sweet.

I love it when the story isn't set in a some European or Europe inspired kingdom. A lot of mangas that are set in feudal Japan are much better at portraying history, the stories set in joseon too feel more authentic and entertaining than some lackluster copy paste European monarchy dick riding stuff that these manhwa authors churn out like crazy. Not specific to historical but when Li are supportive of the MCs dreams, whether that be being a knight, owning a business, revenge, or a stay at home spouse.
I choose this even though it can be modern troupe because sometimes in historical stories there are more limitations for certain groups and I love a li the goes the extra mile to be support...... 1 reply
