What are your thoughts on moving out?
I know in some cultures people still live with parents and as long as you have a job and are contributing ngl I prefer it I lived alone in a new place with no friends once and it sucked
Even in cultures that prefer kids living with their parents, the kids are 100% more happier living alone. Also I'm totally supportive of people moving out when the time's right, living with your parents where one of your parents(or both) still has to do your laundry and cook for you is gonna make you spinless and lazy. I had lived alone for like 2 years now top. It's pretty lonely like at first it's fun, you get your own privacy and you ig do some stuff. You can have your lovers around without having awkwardness in the room with ur guardians third wheeling. But overtime it's just lonely. Depends on your relationship with your family ig. But I love living independently and would hate to go back to living under my mother's roof personally. 1 reply
its smarter to stay at home financially and convenient in a lot of ways, but i really wanna move out anyway;;;;

moving out idea wise is pre great esp when ur like newly an adult bc u get to learn what the world will rlly be like
forces u to do shit like cook, clean, think abt bills and a buncha other things without or barely any help from ppl at times too

honestly it's worth living with your parents if you have a good relationship with them lol, I'm moving out in the summer cause I've managed to get into a nice school with reduced frequency classes and i get to work part time to maintain myself lol reply
