I'm 99.99% sure that cover isn't genuine whatsoever and is a ploy to get ya'll talking, which is clearly working. I'm fully expecting her to "take back control" or whatever in the song/mv. Just like in the Taste MV where she and Jenna kill the dude at the end.

it's so disappointing to see what she's done to her image in the public recently. I had been a fan of her music for the past 6+ years, but when her male pandering content started coming (the skims photoshoot, how it sexualizes young girls for the female gaze + the newer songs) it just put me off so bad. Not a fan of her but the discourse appears on my fyp too often to not know but personally I saw the cover of man’s best friend as having a double meaning because while yes it’s insinuating dog role play, the way he’s holding her hair also looks like domestic violence
