Okay so I know this is a really stupid question but it's been kind of bothering me because I always see mixed opinions on tiktok but basically I was just randomly scrolling through tiktok one night and I seen this video about it and how to do it to make your eyes look bigger and I figured why not try it because I was about to wash my makeup off in a few minutes anyways and I honestly really liked it and how it made me look but I don't want to keep doing it if it is considered Asian fishing or is rude so can someone tell me is it okay if I do it I'm Romanian but like really pale btw
Asian here! No! it is not. Aegyo sal is a feature that can show up in anyone no matter the race. Although the act of purposely enhancing it is from East Asia and so did the beauty standard for it originate as it makes our eyes look bigger. Anyway, as long as you acknowledge it's origins then go crazy.

Just saying but aegyosal is a natural feature that some asian cultures find pretty so they fake it with makeup.
Making their eyes bigger is just them making a feature they don't have, you engaging in the same thing is not asian fishing since it's not even a exclusively asian feature in the first place reply
