What's the scariest thing that has ever happened to you

This is actually really embarrassing but all my pride is gone already so...
This happened the day before, i was reading real life supernatural encounters on reddit and some of these stories were really spooky and I was already looking around my room like I was sharing space with something else when my brother came to remind me that my bag was still outside. I was planning on running outside, picking it up then running back inside cause it was dark outside and for some reason it didn't occur to me that I could simply turn on the lights.
Forgot to mention my neighbour adopted a cat last week, a very beautiful BLACK CAT(it's not completely black cause it has a really bit of brown but it's not obvious when it's dark) and I've been really to befriend the cat but she's very shy and runs away every time.
Anyways I rush outside but forgot where I kept the bag so I was kinda groping around when something soft brushed past my legs. I was startled and tried to run back inside when an unknown black creature jumped on me. People of mangago. I. Kid. You. Not, my soul left my body at that moment, i can't even remember anything, all I know was that when I opened my eyes I was lying on the floor surrounded by my brothers and I was wet. According to my brother they heard an inhumane scream rush out just to see me lying on the ground holding our neighbour's screaming cat tightly like I was about to suffocate it, said they had to force my hands open before the cat could run away and I was shaking like someone possessed by a demon. They were scared and my younger brother rushed inside carried water and poured on me before I recovered. That was the worst experience ever ╥﹏╥, my neighbours all rushed here thinking someone was dying it was embarrassing, they all laughed at me after hearing what happened cat owner even brought the cat to apologize but I refused to come out. I hate cats now they're sent by the devil, all my pride and prestige is gone. I used to be the beautiful cold girl that everybody was trying to know, now people laugh when I walk past. I want to move, i don't mind being homeless at this point. Someone point me to a shelter cause this house is no longer for me.
