so my brother and i had an arguments regarding palastine and isntrael, how isntrael is committing genocide against them and how utterly disgusting they are cuz omg he's so Islamophobic it's insane I need to prove him wrong that the war between these states didn't start on 7 oct 2023. it's a long history. Look into the Palestinian Mandate. I guess you can blame the Brits for this conflict as well =). Furthermore, it is more of a holy war between Arabs and Jews than between two separate countries. Can't help you with that but, I think is stupid to think a war start at XX date, there always YEARS or even DECADES of precedence if conflict violence.
Wars don't start when pigs decided to call it one, wars start when the first innocent dies.
