help me out to prove my brother wrong

so my brother and i had an arguments regarding palastine and isntrael, how isntrael is committing genocide against them and how utterly disgusting they are cuz omg he's so Islamophobic it's insane I need to prove him wrong that the war between these states didn't start on 7 oct 2023. it's a long history.
