If you have a friend who cheats on their partner, does that make them less trustworthy in your eyes? Would you see it as a red flag about their character? Also, if you knew about their infidelity, would you confront them or stay out of it since it doesn’t directly involve you?
Why would I need to comfort a cheater???, If I stayed friends with a cheater, I wouldn't comfort them at all.
