Censorship

So I heard the UK is now blocking every nsfw content out there and they need to submit their ID to see it again. And recently Steam have also removed game that is labeled nsfw and adults game due to payment processers demand.

I'm genuinely so scared what will happened next. I mean my country have always ban certain websites (this one too) and some nsfw artist account on Twitter. if western countries decided to ban more things I'm pretty fucking sure they'd start tightening up and ban more stuff.

what's even more worrying is Steam is forced to take down their content by payment processors AND a lobbying group to "protect children" which is bs. Steam has always have content filter and even when I turn it off I still get the notification that it's an adult game.

I'm worried how they'd enforce this. Giving up my ID to third party group to verify my age? hell no. Even my own government couldn't protect my data. and in the UK they'd use your device history and browser history to verify?? isn't that fucking insane
