Second-hand embarrassment is when ur embarrassed by something someone ELSE says/does. Just fyi. But when I embarrass myself I just remember there are SO many ppl below me in this world. No matter how embarrassing I might be, there are people out there who are straight up retarded and delusional and ugly and people still love them. So I'm good.   1 reply

sometimes I still lay awake at night thinking about the embarrassing things I did lol. Just find something to take your mind off of it, it will always be there at the back of your mind so the best thing u can do is to ignore it   reply

I just cringe, tell the story to a friend, cringe again and hope I never have to intersect in life with anyone who was witness to my embarrassment.   reply

That's first hand but I just tell myself "people will forget and die too someday." cus I mean, it doesn't matter. Why they holding to that memory? Worry about your finances gurl and not my pants being ripped off during a dance.   1 reply

Well I'm guessing you mean first hand ? If so I had a couple embarrassing moments and what helped me is to literally be like I'll never meet these people again and probably they'll forget about it since it's such an insignificant thing and also everyone does embarrassing stuff all the time so yea no biggie ╮(￣▽￣)╭   reply
