I can't call my boyfriend by his name

I feel so shy when im supposed to call him, so I end up saying "hey frog" "ghost" , anything but his name , is it normal?(´-﹏-`；)

Feeling shy while taking someone's name is so relatable I find pet names even more embarrassing, so I prefer using just pronouns #－.－) I think ghost or frog is fine as long as they don't find it bad. :) reply
