Suicide is selfish

Not even rage bait. It doesn't matter what you say, doesn't matter how much a person struggles, at the end of the day suicide will always be the selfish choice. Have you guys ever heard the phrase ''the burdens of the dead pass on to the living''? By killing yourself, you're leaving a huge burden on everyone around you. Everyone who cared about you. Because now they're asking ''what did i miss?'' or ''what did i do wrong?''. By killing yourself, you're passing your depression onto others. By killing yourself, you turn into the coward who couldn't even bother to fight, a representation of the weak, showing others that life isn't worth fighting for. Is that a message you wish to spread? Okay and you may argue, ''what if i have no one? no one will care.'' You have no teachers? boss? coworkers? friends? family? parter? pet? Somebody who isn't necessarily close to you, but would feel the burden of your death none the less? bullshit. you've deluded yourself into thinking these things so that you feel less guilty in your thoughts and choices. Not to mention those who chose to kill themselves after commiting horrible crimes. Killers, Rapists who kill themselves because they are too pussy to face the consequences of their actions. Would you argue thats not selfish too?

Stop glamorizing suicide. Stop saying its okay. Stop trying to defend suicide and the people who've done it. By doing these things, you're pushing out a false narrative to mentally vulnerable people that its okay to kill themselves because people will ''understand''.

Fight against your abusers, fight against your mental health, fight to live because you do not want to hurt others the way you have been hurt. THAT is the message that should be spread, not this shit about ''people who kill themselves aren't selfish because x, x and x and shouldn't be judged!'' No, they should. They should know the gruesome, nasty TRUTH behind suicide, and SHOULD be judged if they choose to kill themselves. Suicide survivors see the affects of their actions first-hand, and it is a miserable experience. So start discouraging people from killing themselves instead of trying to defend it!
