Tldr: I dream as a mischievous spirit who can mess with others in my dreams and my mother dreams like a person. How do yall dream?
Hey how do yall dream? I was talking to my mother about my dream and she looked at me like I had five heads. When I dream, I tend to see from the 3rd person, watching everything either like a movie or a spirit wandering around. I also dont typically have a physical body unless I will it, and even then I can customize who or what I am. (Possessing people is also something I can do). I hate having a physical form in my dreams, it feels so restricting and weighted.
My mother dreams in the first person, as in through her own eyes and can never change this. She is always herself and the only time her appearance changes is if she changed her appearance irl (like cutting or dying her hair). That's crazy to me? How do you live like that?? So I wanted to ask the good people of mggo to please tell me how yall dream bc you cant all be trapped and just going along with whatever the plot line is. Possess people, cause problems
My dreams are in 3rd person like a movie too, also my dreams and imagination never actually have form, if that makes sense?? like my brain knows to interpret who is who and what everyone look like but if i think to inagine it, its just like black dust instead of actual colors and shapes??

People experience many things in dreams I wonder why many people say they can't feel pain in dreams, like I low-key get punched in the gut and fall from ladders. reply
1st, and it’s always about my biggest worry! or something i’m subconsciously but knowingly embarassed about. It always makes me worried that it really happens because my dreams are REALLY realistic, so whenever i’m half asleep i have to really convince myself that it was a dream. reply
I've dreamt in so many odd perspectives. I was watching the dream unfold through a kdrama (only found out when i realized i was pressing skip), through a game console, third person and first person. I typically don't have a gender I can remember, but I do know that sometimes I'm male instead of female. Sometimes I'm a spirit, but I'm still attached...... reply
Dang, I had never dreamt in 3rd person, it's always 1st person for me so it's kinda hard to wrap my head around that. That being said, it's quite an interesting and makes me wonder if people have done research on this phenomenon (?) All my dreams are in 3rd person too lol. Usually it's like watching a movie of myself. I'm a disembodied spirit watching myself as a character in the dream.
